I decided to make another trailer of my film to illustrate what I have done so far- the trailer focuses on the shooting that I did on Thursday 11th. This is an example of what my music video will look like, but is also a development of what I have done so far.

Shooting day 3
This was my shot list which basically gathers everything I needed to shoot. I was shooting in the theatre again under the spotlight to gather a wider portfolio of film to use.

The Killing Joke
Since I couldn't exactly find a music video that is exactly the same as the idea in which I have for my music video, I have gathered a couple of music videos which have similar features within them.
Florence and the Machine: Spectrum.
The Florence and the machine music video is very staged and bright. The lighting of the shoot uses spotlights to highlight the character which is what I intend to use in my music video to highlight the ballet dancer. Also this music video uses a lot of ballet dancers, also it uses a ballet dancer to portray the personality of a character which is what I aim to do for my character in the muisic video.
Skrillex: First of the year
The director of this music video has used very slow paced, static shots which create an eary sort of atmosphere, which is something I want to use as inspiration. Also the colours are quite dismall and dull which enhances that atmosphere, I am going to use this in my music video for the CHASE scenes. What I am going to further do in my music video is to use a much wider variety of shots but also to use a shaky handheld camera from the prespective of the character to create a more disoriantated point of view.
Nicest Daughter
This is not a music video, this is a short film. I am using this as inspiration and as an example of something similar because the figure in this short film is similar to how I want the figure to look in my music video; something non human like. Furthermore there are various shots which I like the look off in this music video such as when the mother switches the light back on, and you see the hand of the figure reach out infront of the camera so the camera is in the prespective of the figure, this is something which i intend to use in my music video.

The killing joke is another short film which illustrates examples of shot types and cinematography. The similarity between my music video and this short film is that they both portray an element of suspense and the idea of somebody following them.
